Martha, 2008

Martha is a fictional documentation of a mannequin who becomes alive and tries to blend in with the human world. At a very young age, I watched an episode of The Twilight Zone, The After Hours that deepened my fear of mannequins and general plastic creations that are made to resemble that of real life. From afar, Martha seems real. Up close, she is fake. The ability to create something to resemble what is real is still a phenomenon to me.
